Scope:
Microcontroller Based Earth Sensing Unit continuously monitors insulation resistance of 12 cores of Quad Cables which are used for Digital Axle Counter (DAC) or any other signalling & telecom purpose. Whenever leakage resistance of the connected core goes below the set value, it gives an Audio Visual alarm. Hence, failures due to earth faults can be prevented. Potential free contacts are provided which can be extended to data logger.
